Echinacea (Echinacea Αngustofolia)
Echinacea is a powerful booster of the immune system. It is most effective when it is taken at the onset of the sinus/ cold or gum inflammation or any type of infection.
Other uses include anxiety, low white blood cell count, chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS), rheumatoid arthritis, migraines, acid indigestion, pain, dizziness, rattlesnake bites, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and improving exercise performance.
Sometimes people apply echinacea to their skin to treat boils, gum disease, abscesses, skin wounds, ulcers, burns, eczema, psoriasis, sun-related skin damage, herpes simplex, yeast infections, bee stings, snake and mosquito bites, and hemorrhoids.
Echinacea is also used as an injection to treat vaginal yeast infections and urinary tract infections (UTIs).
The fresh juice from the leaves can provide instant relief from insect bites, hives, and itchy skin. Best used externally, Echinacea needs to be taken frequently and regularly to be effective.
It is externally used for the treatment of infected wounds and abrasions.
Echinacea should not be consumed by people that face an autoimmune disease (for instance lupus or multiple sclerosis). Applying echinacea to the skin can cause redness, itchiness, or a rash.

Hot Brew Instructions
Boil 250ml of water. Reduce to low and simmer 1-2 tsp of herb for 5-7 minutes. Strain. Enjoy!
Cold Brew Instructions
Put 1-2 tsp of the herb in a glass jar with 250 ml of filtered water. Put the lid on and shake. Put the jar in the refrigerator for at least 12-14 hours. Strain. Enjoy your cold brew tea.
